History of TCM

Traditional Chinese Medicine, also known as TCM is an ancient form of medicine which has it’s roots in China. It has been the main form of medicine in China for the past 2000 years (at least), proving itself to be both safe and effective in the treatment of every type of disease.

TCM has spread worldwide over this time and is now used by 40% of the world’s population as their first and only form of medicine. TCM has the purpose of increasing health, making the person as healthy as they can possibly be. It also works with disease by treating the root cause so as to eradicate the condition fully from the person. Each treatment is unique to the individual being treated.

TCM is concerned with people rather than diseases. It sees every patient as a unique and whole individual. In the hands of the professional, TCM is a very safe medicine. It can do no harm. It has no side effects. It can treat body, mind, emotion and spirit. It can treat all of these effectively without the need for referrals. TCM can treat all ages and all types of people, from children to the elderly. It has done so for thousands of years in China treating every type of human ailment.
